We want to commend you on the fine work you’ve carried out on Ruth (1909 26’ Borneman launch). It was a big responsibility to replace the keel, ribs and bottom planking, along with the added project tasks that developed along the way. Your commitment to quality and ability to work within our budget is very much appreciated. It was also great fun to be able to visit you regularly in the shop to see the work unfolding and we thank you for encouraging us as "sidewalk superintendents" to watch this labour of love unfold. Stan Hunter has a wealth of boat restoration information that he presents in simple and understandable terms. He’s always open to discuss the restoration process and how it can be customized to fit individual customer needs.
Stan’s waterfront location allows him to provide a full service boat program including maintenance, repair and storage that many builders cannot. My original restoration job has become an annual launch and haul out relationship.
I'm a big fan of your operation, Stan. It’s a rare occurrence in the boat business to receive an invoice that is the same as the estimate made months earlier, yet that’s my experience with Stan Hunter Boatbuilder.
